This Privacy Policy describes how Vedican Technology Private Limited ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application Aurply ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using Aurply, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction

Aurply is an auto-reply tool that helps users send automated responses across various messaging applications. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Aurply is NOT affiliated with WhatsApp, Meta, Instagram, Telegram, or any other messaging platform. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Custom Reply Messages: The auto-reply text and chatbot responses you create are stored locally on your device.
Contact Selection Preferences: Your choices regarding which contacts or groups should receive auto-replies.
Schedule Settings: Time-based preferences for when auto-reply is active.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: Device model, OS version, unique device identifiers, language, and time zone.
App Usage Data: Features used, session duration, crash logs, and interaction patterns.
Advertising ID: Google Advertising ID for ad personalization and analytics.

2.3 Notification Access Data

Aurply uses the Notification Listener Service (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE) to detect incoming messages from supported messaging apps so it can send automated replies.

Important Disclosure: Notification content is processed entirely on your device and is NEVER transmitted, stored, or shared with our servers or any third party. The app only reads notifications to identify the sender and app so it can trigger the appropriate auto-reply.

2.4 Accessibility Service Data (If Applicable)

If enabled, Aurply uses Android's Accessibility Service solely to automate the action of sending reply messages within supported messaging apps. This permission is used exclusively for:

Detecting incoming message notifications
Automatically typing and sending pre-configured reply messages

We do NOT use Accessibility Service to collect, record, transmit, or analyze any personal data, screen content, passwords, or keystrokes. All processing happens locally on your device.

2.5 Driving Mode Data

Our Driving Mode feature uses the Activity Recognition API to detect when you are driving. This data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. We do not track, store, or share your location history.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

To provide and maintain the auto-reply functionality
To personalize your experience and save your preferences
To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob
To measure app install performance and advertising effectiveness (via Meta SDK)
To analyze app usage and improve features (via Firebase Analytics)
To detect and fix crashes and bugs (via Firebase Crashlytics)
To back up your data to your personal Google Drive (only if you opt in)
To comply with legal obligations

5. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: Your auto-reply messages, contact selections, and bot configurations are stored locally on your device.
Cloud Backup: If you choose to back up to Google Drive, data is stored in your own Google account (we cannot access it).
Security Measures: We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

With Service Providers: Third-party SDKs listed in Section 3 (AdMob, Firebase, Meta) for the purposes stated.
Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government request.
Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to users.

We do NOT share your messages, notification content, or contact lists with any third party. All message-related processing occurs on your device only.

7. Permissions We Request

Aurply requests the following Android permissions:

Notification Access: To read incoming messages from messaging apps and trigger auto-replies
Accessibility Service (optional): To automate sending reply messages
Activity Recognition: For Driving Mode detection (optional)
Internet Access: For ads, analytics, and optional Google Drive backup
Storage Access: For local backup and restore of bot messages
Run in Background: To detect notifications even when the app is closed
Display Over Other Apps (optional): For driving mode alerts and quick reply popups

You can revoke these permissions anytime through your device's Settings menu. Note that revoking permissions may disable certain features.

8. Advertising and Analytics

Aurply displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized based on your Google Advertising ID. You can:

Opt out of personalized ads: Go to Settings > Google > Ads on your Android device and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
Reset your Advertising ID: In the same menu, tap "Reset advertising ID."

9. Children's Privacy

Aurply is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with information, we will delete it immediately. Parents who believe their child has used our app may contact us at the email below.

10. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA & Indian DPDP Act)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

12. Data Deletion Request

You can delete your data at any time by:

Uninstalling the Aurply app (this removes all locally stored data)
Clearing app data from Settings > Apps > Aurply > Storage > Clear Data
Deleting your Google Drive backup folder (if used)
Emailing us to request deletion of any analytics data associated with your device

13. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our third-party service providers (Google, Meta) operate. These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy within the app or on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this policy periodically.
